I would love to do this. I have a 5yr old golden rtrvr & we just adopted a 3 1/2 mnth old mix(most likely 1/2 pointer by looks & behavior) I broke my foot in the midst of training the golden when he was a puppy & didn't continue the training. while he is perfect, he could use a little help, this pup is a bundle of energy & we both need direction on how to use that energy to our advantage. She is SO smart, learned SIT on the 2nd try & has paw down to an art w/ my hubby for a treat. She is so very smart I think this can go somewhere. I am definatly interested in an online class. Let me know.

I think that is a great idea. Especially if you are concurrently enrolled in a hands on class and miss one. I missed last Thursdays class for a more pressing engagment. Also, since I am moving further away, an online class could keep me up to date for Baron's training.

Just a note to let you know how things are going. The lessons are going quite well. The only one I cannot try is letting the dog out side without leash, because he just bolts to run thru the woods or after another animal. He is becoming good at walking on a leash with me in my motorized chair. The only thing he has not mastered is staying down or getting so excited when some comes in our house. I am very pleased with the training classes. I will continue working on the ones he has trouble with and also giving him spot checks on the ones he has learned.
Mickey
PS: I will recommend your training lessons to any one who wants to train their young dog.

I would be interested in it, the more knowledge the better. We start puppy classes this Monday. I don't know very much about the clicker training. This is a private business and came with good recommendations...and I think they use the slip collar. It is what I used in 86 and my dogs and I got along just fine.
